Heat Pump Experts Back the Black Caps

Together with all of Christchurch and the rest of New Zealand, Heat Pumps NOW followed the Black Caps’ progress through the Cricket World Cup. We couldn’t be more proud. Singing the national anthem at the opening ceremony in Christchurch was a definite highlight. It marked a milestone in the rebuild of our city, and serves as a reminder of how far we’ve come.

​Throughout the tournament the boys in black gave it their all, and did their absolute best. They played with honour and integrity, and were humble in victory, as the now famous photo of Grant Elliot helping up South Africa’s Dale Steyn after their semi-final victory proves*.

More than anything else, this Cricket World Cup has proved that all of the ‘average Joes’ who aren’t the biggest regular cricket fans, still turned out to support the boys representing New Zealand.

Make no mistake, we've felt your belief. We've heard the chants, the cheers and the roars. We've seen the emotion in the faces of the children; in the faces of the mums and dads, and the grandfathers and grandmothers. We've seen grown men in tears; we've seen strangers hugging and we've seen the elderly dancing. I'm not sure how to say this but we've never felt quite so "New Zealand" in all our lives.
